Effective date: 6 October 2026
Rayliza Academy (“we”) runs this website, raylizaacademy.edu.gh. This notice explains what information the website collects and how it is used. It covers this website only.
Information you send us
When you use the contact form, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry.
Your message is emailed to the school’s office address and is also stored in the website’s system, together with the internet (IP) address it was sent from, which helps us protect the form from abuse.
Messages stored on the website are deleted automatically after 12 months. The associated IP address is anonymised after 30 days.
We do not use contact-form details for marketing and we do not sell them.
Applications and My Portal
The “Apply” and “My Portal” links take you to EduWorks, the school management system used by Rayliza Academy. Information you enter there is handled by that service, not by this website.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not use analytics, advertising or personalisation cookies.
Staff who sign in to manage the website receive the usual WordPress login cookies.
If you close an announcement, your browser remembers this in its local storage so the announcement does not reappear; nothing is sent to us.
Fonts from Google
The website’s typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your internet address.
Links to other websites
The website links to other services, such as EduWorks, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Their own privacy practices apply when you visit them.
Website hosting
Like all websites, ours is hosted on a server whose provider keeps standard technical logs, such as internet addresses and pages requested, to run and protect the service.
Children
This website is meant for parents, guardians and visitors. Information about learners is handled by the school, not through this website.
If you would like a photograph that includes your child removed from this website, please contact the school and we will remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold from your messages, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting the school.
You can clear cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings.
